(March 15, 2009) - In the March 15, 2009 edition of Public Accounting Report (PAR), Hein & Associates LLP was ranked #17 in the nation by number of SEC clients, with a total of 53 public company clients.

In addition to the overall ranking, Hein & Associates LLP also ranked #12 for number of Accelerated Filers audited, #28 for number of Small Reporting Companies audited, and #23 for number of Non-Accelerated Filers audited.

According to PAR, "In determining the total registrant count for this analysis, current auditor of record for a give SEC registrant was determined by SEC Disclosures as of March 9, 2009." In addition, the analysis did not include registrants who have terminated their securities registration or have not filed a periodic filing since March 1, 2008.
