(July 1, 2010) - HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP is pleased to announce William Mueldener’s nomination as the Colorado Software and Internet Association, CSIA, Champion of the Year.

This award is designed to honor the volunteers who contribute a high level to CSIA and the technology industry through their active involvement in committees and initiatives for CSIA. The winner will be announced on July 15, 2010 at the 10th annual Apex Awards.

Mr. Mueldener has over 16 years of state tax and incentive consulting experience, and is a Tax Principal at HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP, where he has worked with some of the nation’s largest technology entities. He provides state and local tax consulting services to both national and international companies and assists clients with state income/franchise taxes and sales/use tax technical issues. He has been a member of CSIA for more than three years and is a member of the Public Policy Committee. Mr. Mueldener’s nomination is, in part, due to his work in the promotion of a fair tax regulatory environment for the software and internet industry and his education to business leaders and state legislators about issues impacting the growth of this industry.
