(September 17, 2009) - Hein & Associates LLP is pleased to announce the addition of John LaPorta as Business Development Director in the Denver office.

Mr. LaPorta, a licensed CPA in Colorado, recently spent nearly ten years in a business development role at Marsh, where he consulted with a diverse base of Colorado companies on risk management and financing issues. Prior to that, John was a Senior Manager with a national accounting firm’s Assurance and Business Advisory Services practice in both Denver and New York City.

Mr. LaPorta received his bachelor degree in accounting from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.
